155mm (G5 and G6)

I'd really like to have the training for the formidable G6, I've only seen it live at the South African Museum of Military History, Johannesburg. If you know a guy who can make it happen, please let me know  ;)




It is an awesome piece of kit.

Sadly I see the previous CO of our School of Artillery was only there till end March 2020 - he was course leader when I did my officer's training there many years back - not that I would have been able to arrange a trip in one of these while he was there, just that he was someone I respected and I knew he ran a training school to be proud of.

Some of the other toys we played with in my time (excluding the Bateleur and Vulture which I never saw myself).

A small group of us also trained with 120mm mortars to be used in air drop applications.
