Some photo's of last hunt I did. Decided on just my family and a walk about, turns out cody beat me 4 -1. Although this was a competition of sorts, there was also a job needing doing, had 6 buyers for animals and a farmer that want herds 30 animals reduced.

I can remember, as a younger version, driving to Ellisras on the Friday, shooting 4 big Impala rams on the Saturday and returning on the Sunday. Energy and young muscles help a lot. "Jonk en jukkerig" is an appropriate expression.
Congrats to the young man. Glad to see his enthusiasm for hunting and the outdoors.

Double click on the grass pick to follow to the video. Cody had a massive 24 + inch Impala ram walk up to him while he sat under a tree. He messaged me if he could take it as his biggest for his wall, heard two shots ?
Two warthog had walked up next to the Impala, and Cody being Cody he shot the hogs. I am at present reminded on a hourly basis of his success.
