Had this old piece of wood lying there. The off-cut you should throw away but don't, in case you might need it for something, even though it's bent with defects.
I showed this to my wife. She said I have a strange habit for drilling holes in odd pieces of wood and varnishing them.

A regular spade bit 22mm.
