Hi Folks, what is your experience with the accuracy of striker fired pistols?

Recently I was astounded at how much better my accuracy was when I switched from M&P9 to CZ 75. The groups were roughly 50% smaller at any given distance.

Your M&P9, is that the full size or compact?

Difference can be because of the sight radius.

Could also be driver error due to the harder trigger pull from the striker-fired compared to the single-action CZ75.

The M&P is full sized. I find it difficult to "catch the link", and the harder trigger release definitely has a large impact on general accuracy.

I dint think there's any inherent mechanical accuracy advantage between the systems and there are people who drive both systems well.

A 75 with a nicely worn in trigger and mainspring makes for a really nice trigger that's hard for a striker system to rival for me at least.

Mine has gone full Cajun gun works retard and i shoot it better that anything else I own.

The weight could also be a factor. The heavier CZ has a "nicer" recoil to me making it easier to return to target.

All that said, if the heavier trigger is opening your groups, then you need more trigger time to practice pushing it straight back.
