A call out to all of you who have dabbled with making cast bullets for handguns. A friend of mine has a .40 S&W Glock and wants to look at cast bullets in the 160gr range. Any of you with info on suitable molds available or for sale? Any suggestions are welcome.

The multi hole molds that hold 6 - 7 cavities are amazing, till you start using them, they very quickly become tiring to heavy for one hand use. If you want to cast 200 bullets, strangely, the 2 - 3 cavity mold will please you more/.

I am who I am - I am not who you want me to be.

Lee .401 mould

Doesn't get any better than that.

They come in a 4 cavity as well.

Powder coat, size and shoot.

It'll be necessary to see what lead hardness gives the best accuracy, if the lead is soft it will skip the rifling and accuracy becomes non-existent.

The nice thing about casting bullets is you can melt the mistakes and try again.
