Slugging a 303 barrel?

I read on a forum one guy used wax crayons. Not candle wax - actual colored wax crayons.

I read on a forum one guy used wax crayons. Not candle wax - actual colored wax crayons.

If this is true, a normal candle should work as well. Plug the barrel and drop molten wax from the burning candle into the barrel.

Wax crayons make for great bling add ons with fire arms.
Take a Red crayon and your Rugers engraving on barrel - rub the crayon into engraving properly, force it in heat rub ir it by hand till the lettering is filled. Then take a light flame and go over the area. Things evaporate out and you left with a nice red fill in the Ruger lettering. when it ages you just buff it to a fresh new layer.
