I have communicated with Jonathan Deal previously ( I have his book on the Karoo )
What he and Martin Hood .. and others assume ..
Is that one is still working within a FUNCTIONING Constitutional Democracy
What they do not understand is that the people they are dealing with are not interested in Logic / Rationality / Legality - They are Communist Ideologues that are not interested in these concepts
They pursue their agenda  rigidly blind to anything else !

Public participation / millions of signatures / private activism is just not going to cut it
The only way - so far - to fight them .. is in court as the Marksman case shows
THIS is of course expensive and one hopes to find a competent judge - that has not been captured
and
Private legal specialists that ( do due diligence ) are prepared to act .. PRO BONO !

Apart from that it appears that there are a number of people involved in the firearms industry that are low on morals and ethics and are more interested in the personal monetary aspects than the bigger picture !

[member=820]Newton[/member], I'll disagree with you on one point with regards to public participation  firearm owners are only about 5% of the adult population, so that is by far the vast minority and all the other organisations and associations do not target or really align with the non firearm owners or the rest of the population. Safe Citizen has the opportunity to target everyone not only the firearm owner.

What I'm trying to convey is public participation for the non firearm owning community or rest of the adult population is extremely crucial because if you can get those numbers behind the firearm community, organisations, associations it would make legislation, regulations, restrictions, control etc harder to push through as for you only having 5%.

There's a lot of credible volunteers involved at the moment, and hopefully as time goes on more volunteers, people with influence, community leaders, endorsements  etc will come on board.

Jonathan Deal has managed to secure a legal specialist if Safe Citizen has to submit, draft or request anything through the courts etc...

PS: Just some brief clarity and background, in 2022 on Gunsite Forum there was a forum user that had made some comments regarding activism which he was involved in during the 1990's and early 2000's with SAFF which was an effort from volunteers to send out letters to editors, get on radio interviews, and the media etc.. to counter GFSA and other anti gun propaganda.

Long story short a few people reached out to to the forum user and a new thread was createdTHREAD a Telegram group was created and with some help and guidance emails (letters) were sent out to editors/ media to counter the anti-gun narrative and some interviews were secured. [member=79]oafpatroll[/member] [member=849]MSW2[/member] (not sure which other forum members are on here) were a huge part of this and actively participated in this, and through that I managed to interact with Jonathan Deal.

Just a suggestion, perhaps send Jonathan Deal an email regarding your plan, maybe he can arrange or setup something with regards to it.

Back in 2022 I emailed Damien Enslin from SAGA with regards to if one of us managed to secure a interview with a media outlet etc if he would accept the interview on our behalf or write up an opinion piece etc... GOSA, Martin Hood, Safe Citizen and FPC all replied and said of course, Damien never responded to my emails.
