The aussies did a bunch of interesting things with the LE. Don't know if its still in production but a company called Australian International Arms did a really high end development of it that was still going in the 2000's

The Aussies are sentimental about the Lee, saw a post other day where one Ausie said to another on one of their sites, " Just get one of the Smellies mate, even if its just for nostalgia" another post called the Lee's old girls.
